Day of Discovery– March 1st at St. Stephens Episcopal Church following service. This is for all members of the congregations of St. Stephens and Bethany Lutheran. We will be led by the Office of Transition Ministries guiding us through our search process.
Altar Guild Meeting-St. Stephen’s at noon in the Parish Hall. Bring your own lunch.
Parish Leadership Day-Saturday, March 7th-We will be departing from St. Stephen’s at 7:00 am sharp. Leadership Day begins at 9am at the Diocesan Ministry Center in Tonawanda, NY.
Service at Bethany Lutheran-Sunday March 8th at 10:30 am
Vestry Meeting-Monday, March 30th at 6:00 pm
Combined Services
While we are in our transition period, we will remain to have combined services at 10:30 am. Please check our Worship Page. It will inform you which church is holding service. Either St. Stephens or Bethany Lutheran. We are two churches of different denominations working together. This is a unique opportunity that we share and we are an example for the diocese and other congregations.
Ongoing Events
Bible/Book Study – Wednesdays at 12:00 Noon – Bethany Lutheran – The group is studying the book: “The God You Need to Know” by Margaret Feinberg. Understand and experience the Holy Spirit, moving beyond viewing the Spirit as a mystery to recognizing its active daily presence. The book explores the Spirit’s role throughout Scripture, particularly in often overlooked Old Testament passages. Books are still available. Bring your own Brown Bag Lunch. Coffee and water provided.
Pet Food Pantry – 2nd Friday of every month. Pack pet food and distributed for Pet Food Pantry. Packing food begins at 8:30 AM at Bethany Lutheran. Distribution of food for Pet Food Pantry runs from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Bethany Lutheran.
